CURRENT PROGRAMS
As part of our charter to inform and educate members of the general public and the entire composites supply chain about new composite materials, reinforcements, processing technologies, and applications and their benefits, the SPE Composites Division annually participates as:
- A co-organizer with the SPE Automotive Division for the SPE Automotive Composites Conference & Exhibition (ACCE), the world’s leading automotive composites forum, and
- Organizes a session at the SPE Annual Technical Conference (ANTEC)
- Also organizes a session at the annual American Composites Manufacturers Association’s (ACMA’s) Composites show.

Additionally, we occasionally hold special events like our Composites on the Move show last held in 2008 at the National Composites Center in Dayton, Ohio.
We also sponsor or co-sponsor a number of industry awards -- including the Dow-SPE Educator of the Year Award; and the SPE Composites Person of the Year Award -- and fund several student scholarships -- including the SPE ACCE Graduate Research Scholarship and the Perkin-Elmer Scholarship.
